Presently, construction investment totals some 500 million pounds.
This includes 700,000 sq.ft office space, 250,000 sq.ft studio space, and 80,000 sq.ft retail and leisure space. The studios will be the largest HD studio block in the UK. A piazza is planned that can host some 9,000 outdoor spectators, and a new tram link will connect the site to Manchester city centre. On the basis of this case study, the seminar will focus on governance aspects of cluster building.
